A traditional no8, Troy makes things tick in the Cardiff City midfield, and is always on the go, with a fantastic engine. He has played up the age groups for his club and was selected for Wales U16s who shared the Victory Shield with Scotland in Belfast in October 2021, and subsequently was chosen in the Wales U17 squad which competed in the Euro Qualifiers in Portugal in November 2021. Troy was selected again for Wales U16s for the UEFA Development Tournament in North Wales in April 2022, culminating in an all-action display against Brazil in Denbigh. In autumn 2022, Troy was selected for the successful Wales U17 side which qualified from the group stages of the European Championships after a 2-0 win against hosts, Croatia, in which he scored, and two draws against Sweden and Albania. The next stage, the Elite Round, will take place in March 2023, in which Troy will undoubtedly play a significant part. He is yet to sign his 2-year scholarship offer
